About the BMW F30

The F30 was BMW's 3 Series from 2012 through 2019, replacing the E90 and covering the N20 (228i / 320i / 328i), N26 ULEV, N55 (335i), and B58 (340i) engine generations. The mid-cycle LCI refresh in 2016 brought full-LED headlights, the NBT EVO head unit, and a redesigned rear bumper. Most chassis and interior parts are shared across pre-LCI and LCI builds — the changes are concentrated in lighting, infotainment, and front-bumper hardware.

We carry the deepest F30 stock for head units (NBT and NBT EVO), CID displays in 6.5" and 8.8", HiFi and Harman Kardon amplifiers, FRM3 modules, and headlight assemblies (halogen, Xenon, and LCI full-LED). The F31 Touring wagon shares most of these parts — see our F31 page for wagon-specific tailgate and rear-cabin items.

When buying F30 parts, the two filters that matter most are pre-LCI vs LCI (lighting and infotainment changed) and the audio package (676 HiFi vs 677 Harman Kardon). Every listing here calls out both in the title and spec table.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the BMW F30

What's the difference between F30 and F31?
Same platform, different body. F30 is the 4-door sedan; F31 is the wagon (Touring). Nearly every interior part, electronics module, head unit, and amplifier interchanges between the two. Differences are mostly tailgate hardware, rear-cabin trim, and the load-floor assembly.
Do these parts fit BMW xDrive (AWD) models?
Most interior, infotainment, lighting, and bodywork parts are identical between RWD and xDrive variants of the same chassis. xDrive-specific differences are concentrated in the transmission tunnel, drivetrain, and ABS hardware. Listings explicitly call out drivetrain-specific fitment in the spec table.
Do pre-LCI and LCI F30 parts interchange?
Most do — chassis hardware, suspension, and engine bay parts are shared. The LCI refresh (mid-2015) changed the headlight design (full-LED option), tail lights, dashboard CID size (8.8" became standard), and updated NBT EVO head unit. These parts are clearly distinguished as pre-LCI or LCI in our listings.
How do I find my BMW chassis code?
Your chassis code is on the VIN plate inside the driver's door jamb, on the strut tower under the hood, and in your owner's manual under "Vehicle identification." It's a 3-character code like F30, E46, or G20 — the first letter is the platform generation and the digits are the body type. Searching by chassis is the single most reliable way to confirm BMW parts fitment.
What if the part doesn't fit my BMW?
Every listing ships with eBay's Money Back Guarantee. If a part arrives that doesn't match its stated fitment, you're covered by eBay for a full refund — return shipping included. Confirm your OEM part number against the listing before ordering to avoid the round trip.
