About the BMW F25

The F25 was BMW's second-generation X3, sold 2010 through 2017 with N20, N26, and N55 engines. The 2014 LCI refresh introduced full-LED headlights (with FLE2 ballast), updated tail lights, the NBT head unit alongside CIC, and a redesigned front bumper and grille. F26 X4 (the coupe-style variant) shares most front-half body parts and all electronics.

F25 head units are CIC (pre-2014) and NBT (2014+). CID displays in 6.5" and 8.8", HiFi and Harman Kardon amplifiers, and the FLE2 LED headlight ballast modules are our main F25 stock. The FLE2 module is unique to LCI F25 — it's a common failure point that we keep in stock.

xDrive is standard on most US-market F25 builds. Drivetrain parts differ between xDrive and the rare RWD F25 sDrive variant; everything else (interior, electronics, lighting) is shared.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about the BMW F25

Does my F25 X3 fit F26 X4 parts?
Front-half body, interior switchgear, infotainment, headlights, and most modules interchange between F25 X3 and F26 X4 (the coupe-style variant). F26-specific parts are the rear quarter panels, tailgate glass, and roof. Listings call out X3-only or X4-only fitment.
Do pre-LCI and LCI F25 parts swap?
Mostly yes for chassis and interior. The 2014 LCI refresh updated headlights (FLE2 LED ballast variant added), tail lights, and introduced NBT head unit alongside CIC. Lighting and infotainment from LCI cars typically need coding to retrofit to pre-LCI.
Do these parts fit BMW xDrive (AWD) models?
Most interior, infotainment, lighting, and bodywork parts are identical between RWD and xDrive variants of the same chassis. xDrive-specific differences are concentrated in the transmission tunnel, drivetrain, and ABS hardware. Listings explicitly call out drivetrain-specific fitment in the spec table.
How do I find my BMW chassis code?
Your chassis code is on the VIN plate inside the driver's door jamb, on the strut tower under the hood, and in your owner's manual under "Vehicle identification." It's a 3-character code like F30, E46, or G20 — the first letter is the platform generation and the digits are the body type. Searching by chassis is the single most reliable way to confirm BMW parts fitment.
What if the part doesn't fit my BMW?
Every listing ships with eBay's Money Back Guarantee. If a part arrives that doesn't match its stated fitment, you're covered by eBay for a full refund — return shipping included. Confirm your OEM part number against the listing before ordering to avoid the round trip.
