About the BMW F31
The F31 was BMW's 3 Series Touring (wagon), sold 2012 through 2019 on the F30 platform. It was offered in most BMW markets except the US, where the 3 Series Touring slot was taken by the 3 Series Gran Turismo (F34). Canada, UK, EU, and most other markets got F31 across N20, N26, N55, B47 diesel, and B58 engine options.
Roughly 90% of F31 parts are shared with F30 sedan — head units, amplifiers, switchgear, dashboard, suspension hardware, and most lighting are identical. F31-specific items are concentrated at the rear: tailgate, tailgate glass and trim, rear-cabin parcel shelf area, load-floor assembly, and the rear bumper with reverse-camera cutout in some trims.
